I’ve been working with my Floating Jar form for

I’ve been working with my Floating Jar form for quite a while now experimenting with subtle changes in the curves and different clays and following a tricky 6 month period where I experienced mega losses due to technical issues I’m now back on track and very happy with this vessel. The smoke firing was very kind and excellent photography by @shannontofts perfectly captures the piece. She will be showing at my pop up Studio 61 as part of the @springfling open studios @oldschoolthornhill 24-26 May. I’m so thrilled to be taking part in @springfling open studio event this year from a new pop-up venue @oldschoolthornhill Studio 61 will be in excellent company with 3 other fantastic studios @alisonmacleodjewellery @kazrobertsonjewellery & @sparrowandco 80 studios in total will be open across Dumfries & Galloway, Southwrst Scotland 24-26 May. I’ll be showcasing new work and demonstrating my coil building technique over the weekend, mark it in the diary!
