I was so thrilled to be in London yesterday and visit Secret Ceramics at Christie’s Mayfair as part of @londoncraftweek This fundraiser exhibition is organised through @firedup4clay who provide clay clubs for young people who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance to experience the joy of clay. I was honoured to be asked to donate an anonymous piece for the exhibition and mighty pleased to see it had sold very early on. I’m thrilled to be taking part in this excellent

I’m thrilled to be taking part in this excellent exhibition raising funds for the fantastic @firedup4clay as part of @londoncraftweek Secret Ceramics opens today from 1 pm for London Craft Week 2025. This unique charitable exhibition, created in collaboration with FiredUp4 and co-founded by @kate_malone_ceramics MBE, will take place at Christie’s King Street from 12 to 16 May.
The exhibition features over 100 ceramic pieces from both established and up-and-coming artists, along with contributions from creatives outside the ceramics world. Be on the lookout for works by @zandra_rhodes_ and @butterwakefield.

True to its concept, all pieces will be sold anonymously, with the artist’s name revealed only after the purchase. It’s a rare opportunity to acquire works from incredible artists such as @chrisbrambleceramics, @ditteblohm, @hitomihosono, @janae_paquinbowden_pottery, @mitchceramics, @vanessahogg, johnnyvegasofficial, srabanighosh2004, @kellyjessiman, @jchanceramics, @edmunddewaal, @almaberrow and @abid.jav.

Proceeds from Secret Ceramics 2025 will support FiredUp4’s studios across London, including in West, Barking & Dagenham, Barnet, and Croydon — giving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access to the transformative power of clay.
