Stripped back to raw clay, texture, and fire, thes

Stripped back to raw clay, texture, and fire, these Holding Vessels are built slowly by hand to bring the presence of ancient earth into the contemporary space. I’ll be bringing a selection of these with me to @craftpotters Oxford Ceramics Fair 31st 0ct & 1st November. I’ll be demonstrating how I apply coils to a large vessel at 1.00pm on the Sunday and talking about the very origins of ceramics in Palaeolithic times🌀Tickets available from www.oxfordceramicsfair.com Photo credit @shannontofts #ruthelizabethjones #oxfordceramicsfair #craftpottersassociation #smokefired
