The new studio is starting to take shape ready for @springfling open studios 23-25 May across Dumfries & Galloway, I’ll be open 10-5.30 each day with a wide selection of work including my studio sale, if you are local I’m on the Ayr Road just on edge of Moniaive, studio 96, Green route, 5 mins walk from the garages on Ayr street, or 10 mins walk from village car park 🌀😊 #springflingopenstudios

Come and see my new studio at Parkfield Cottage, Moniaive. I’m showing Floating Jar 2 (hand-built, smoke-fired white clay) with stunning silk wallpaper ‘Mechanical Botanical’ AI generated digital print by Emma Varley @elvarley311 Conversations in Clay brought us together to continue our ongoing dialogue between material and method, ancient craft and digital innovation. A large ceramic vessel rises from a tall plinth shaped by hand, flame and atmosphere, behind it algorithmically generated imagery unfolds across silk wallpaper, its forms born from code and continuous editing.
